The pinnacle of Queenstown or Wānaka elopements; this package covers yourselves, a helicopter, and a stunning ‘I do’ location. Flights, celebrant, photographer, an intimate celebratory dinner; everything is set. I’ll be with you on the day making sure everything goes to plan.
SIMPLY INTIMATE
A small wedding package for you, your lover and up to 20 guests. Imagine your vows and photos against an iconic alpine vista, a heli ride, an unforgettable celebration in a beautiful venue; every detail of your dream wedding will unfold without a worry from you.
LET’S CELEBRATE
A Queenstown or Wānaka wedding package for yourselves and 20-50 of your nearest and dearest. Go all out with a mountain-top photoshoot after your ceremony or continue on with your celebrations on the ground. Whatever you decide, your wedding day is seamless and sensational while behind the scenes I take care of your one-of-a-kind event.
ON-THE-DAY
When you’ve organised your Queentown or Wānaka wedding but want to be hands off to enjoy your day. I coordinate your schedule, photographer, caterer and celebrant, as well as setting up and packing down the venue.
A LOVE STORY
Capture your love in a pre or post wedding shoot in one of Queenstown or Wānaka’s iconic mountain locations. Choose your location, time and photographer then turn up ready for your 2.5 hour heli shoot. Hair, makeup and flowers can be included.

I’m Sera Bowden of Something Borrowed Events. I specialise in small wedding and elopement packages in and around Queenstown and Wānaka, New Zealand. Pulling off a truly great destination wedding in this part of the world takes local knowledge, collaborative partnerships, low-level perfectionism, and an amateur interest in meteorology. And that’s me to a T.
